1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Resume Rewriter ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the resumerewriter.com website and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2 Use License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Access and use the Service for your personal or business purposes
• Upload and process resume documents
• Download processed resume outputs
• Use custom templates for resume formatting

This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction

3 User Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

4 Credits and Payment

Our Service operates on a credit-based system:

• Credits are required to process resumes
• Credits expire 24 months from purchase date
• Credits are non-refundable except as required by law
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe

You agree to pay all fees and charges incurred in connection with your use of the Service.

5 Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Resume Rewriter and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your uploaded content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and transform your content as necessary to provide the Service.

6 Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We automatically delete uploaded resumes and processed data after 24 hours. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies.

7 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

8 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

9 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUME REWRITER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Resume Rewriter and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of the Terms which should reasonably survive termination shall survive.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

13 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
